As part of the London Design Festival, Liberty will be hosting Britain Can [still] Make It, a unique exhibition made up entirely of UK designed and produced furniture, lighting, ceramics and textiles.
The exhibition, curated by David Nicholls, Design Editor of the Telegraph Magazine in association with Michelle Alger, Liberty’s home and furniture buyer, takes inspiration from the 1946 show, ‘Britain Can Make It’ held just after the War at the V&A. Britain Can Make It promoted by all practical means the improvement of design in the products of British industry.
The exhibition will present a mix of established and burgeoning designers from the world of furniture, lighting, ceramics, textiles and metal, all of whom produce their work in the UK.
If you would like to visit you can find her work in the home and furniture department on the 4th floor.
Please come and take a look.
