'One day I went to the local florist to buy some roses with big thorns. The florist told me that I couldn't as the thorns are stripped when the flowers are delivered in in morning.....I decided to give the rose back its thorns and this inspired my new series of
work based on thorns, stems and branches

Please note mirrored stems are not designed to actually hold flowers. If anything is inserted into the stem its self, the mirror coating is likely to strip off. The best use of the stems are as accessories in a simple vase with or without flowers.
